JOB TITLE (#25001): Licensed Practical Nurse/ Skilled Nursing Facility- Jersey City, NJ
Minimum of 1 year experience in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing
Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to fill an opening with a Skilled Nursing Facility located in Jersey City, NJ
Requirements of the Licensed Practical Nurse:
Must be a graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing
Must have an active New Jersey State license
Must have at least 1 year of experience in rehabilitative or geriatric
Must be able to withstand strenuous physical activity
Must possess manual dexterity to handle instruments and equipment and visual and aural acuity to detect changes in residents’ conditions
Must possess understanding, patience, and tact in dealing with infirm, chronic, or acutely ill residents, their families, and visitors
Must have the ability to positively interact with everyone from residents to government agencies and the general public
Must have general knowledge of personnel policies and procedures and an understanding of supervisory responsibilities
Must have the ability to work independently, problem solve, and make decisions as necessary
Must have the ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions in the English language, which may be of a technical nature
Benefits of the Licensed Practical Nurse:
The salary for this position is $40 / hr
The is a Full-time or Per Diem position
Responsibilities of the Licensed Practical Nurse:
Monitor patients throughout their treatment.
Perform routine checks of patients' vital signs.
Ensure that patients take their medication.
Assist doctors and registered nurses.
Liaise with patients' families.
