Summary Statement:
The Video Editor plays a pivotal role in our marketing team, focusing on editing compelling video content that promotes our resort's amenities and attractions. This position requires a blend of creative vision, technical expertise, and organizational skills, particularly in planning and organizing shoots to ensure efficient and high-quality content production.
Job Duties:
Primary Job Duties: – Includes but is not limited to:
• Edit video content that aligns with marketing goals and brand identity, using storytelling techniques.
• Organize and coordinate video shoots, including scheduling, location scouting, and ensuring all necessary equipment and resources are available.
• Collaborate with videographers, marketing team members, and other departments to plan and execute.
• Manage post-production workflows, including editing, color grading, and sound design, to create polished, professional videos.
• Contribute creative ideas for new content and improvements to production.
• Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents.
• Perform other job-related duties as requested.
Qualifications:

• Expertise in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro).
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for visual.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and.
Preferred:
• Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort.
• Experience in the hospitality, entertainment, or related.
• Knowledge of the latest video production trends and technology.
Minimum Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Production, or related.
• 3+ years of video editing experience, with a portfolio showcasing a range of projects.
Certificates, Licenses, Regulations:
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
