Position Description :

Looking for a Program Manager position that supports the mission of NAVSEA NSW and the extended Special Operations Force community? This Serco position will support NAVSEA as a prime for the contract responsible for providing professional, administrative, engineering, and technical support services.

You will lead a large team of engineering and analysis support employees across the spectrum of Acquisition and Program Management functions.

In this role, you will:

 •  Serve as the focal point for all communications between the Contractor and the Government for all aspects of contract requirements of all services required by this PWS.
 •  Act and make binding decisions on behalf of the Contractor.
 •  Be at contractor site but manage all employees on contract (to include Government site) during normal working hours.
 •  Submit information to the Contracting Officer Representative as required.
 •  Be reached after hours as needed.

Serco Inc. is using this posting for the purpose of responding to a proposal. We are seeking qualified candidates in the event of a contract award. This position is not currently funded/active. Should Serco be awarded the contract, and you meet the qualifications of the position, you will be considered in the selection process.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

 •  An active TS/SCI clearance
 •  Bachelors degree in business or management related disciplines
 •  10 years of demonstrated work experience in Program Management in support of DoD/Navy Major Program Manager (MPM) Office
 •  8 years of demonstrated work experience supporting Naval Special Warfare (NSW) and/or SOF in resourcing, acquisitions or contract management related positions
 •  Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products/services; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
 •  The ability to travel up to 10%

Additional desired experience and skills:

 •  Graduate degree in business or management related disciplines
 •  Project Management Professional (PMP) or Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) PMP and/or DAWIA Level III PM certification
 •  Prior Special Operations Forces (SOF) military experience
 •  Experience leading a team of 40-50 personnel
