Budget Analyst Responsibilities:
 •  The staff analyst will assist the general project group in engineering and construction administrative budgeting activities to support all facility project managers.. Gather and review facility specific project information related to budget planning: forecasting annual budgets, budget modifications; expenditures; accruals and assist with process improvements to simplify current ongoing required budget activities.. Gather information from databases and historical financial data to create and track construction project budgets. Monitor construction project expenditures and budget variances, and report substantial figures to the appropriate personnel to ensure activities are following spending plans over the life of the project.
 •  Create additional forecasts of project budgets as needed.
 •  Prepare budget reports and presentations for design or construction projects. Output includes Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoints.
