Overview:

GD-OTS in Wilkes Barre offers great benefits including Medical, dental vision, 401k and many other benefits.

Develops, designs, builds and tests robotic platforms from prototype through product commercialization. Creates an integrated autonomous interface, mobility, communication, and human-robot interaction. Works with cross-functional teams to understand opportunities for robotic applications.

Major Position Responsibilities:

 •  Assists engineers with the development and implementation of automation systems or components.
 •  Programs, installs, tests, and maintains robots or automated components.
 •  Assists in the commissioning and deployment of new automation installations, conducts field trials to ensure appropriate operation, and prepares reports or records documenting actions or findings.
 •  Investigate and troubleshoots defects or bugs, complete repairs and provides preventative maintenance.

Basic Qualifications:

 •  Required Education: Associate's Degree OR Equivalent Combination of Relevent Education & Experience
 •  Vocational/Technical Training Degree; Equivalent Combination of Relevent Education & Experience
 •  Preferred Education: Associate's Degree
 •  Discipline/Major: Engineering Degree or equivalent training and experience
 •  Years and Area of Experience (required for the role): 2-4 years prior experience in a similar position.
