Location: Fully remote in the continental US. Work outside of the US not permitted
Preferably local to Rockville, MD, onsite 1 day/week
Job Description:
Our client is looking for a rock star Data Steward to support an internal business stakeholder with their big data capabilities, being responsible for supporting technical initiatives in data engineering, data analytics and software integration.
Our client is starting a new group devoted to data governance and management for an enterprise organization. The ideal candidate will have very strong data skills (modeling, making sense of big data, querying data, etc.) coupled with strong analysis skills.
Required:
BS in Computer Science, Math, Physics and/or EE
Python scripting skills
Expertise in structuring complex, advanced queries in SQL
Spark experience
Data Architecture Experience
AWS expertise with services related to big data S3, EC2, EMR
Looking exceptional communication skills and police, you will be a true technical consultant engaging directly with business stakeholders.
