The role requires someone who can see the big picture and get involved with coordination of company financial planning, SEC Reporting, budgeting and cash management, and in ensuring appropriate accounting procedures are implemented and financial reporting conforms to GAAP.
Accounting Manager Job Duties:Manage timely and accurate preparation of external financial reporting, ensuring statements are in accordance to US GAAP.Prepare financial statements and supporting footnotes in accordance with GAAP for private and public company clients (SEC reporting)Liaise with internal and external audit teams as well as finance and legal.Reviews monthly and quarterly financial reporting package including income statement and balance sheet analysisManagement ReportingProvide accounting analysis to contemplated or executed transactionsReview month end close and manage day to day operational accounting for various clientsSupervises and trains staff on best practices, performs annual performance reviews, and works with management on appropriate staffing allocation.
