Position Title: Systems Engineering Lead
Location: Southeast Michigan (Fully Remote)
Are you a seasoned Systems Engineer with over 5 years of relevant experience, including client interactions and consulting? Do you possess a passion for driving innovation and excellence in network infrastructure? We're in search of an experienced individual to join our client's team as a Systems Engineering Lead.
Qualifications:
Over 5 years of relevant experience in systems engineering, with a track record of successful client interactions and consulting engagements.
Possession of a minimum of two mid-level certifications (e.g., MCSE-Microsoft, VCP or VCAP – VMware, CCDP-Cisco).
Demonstrated expertise in DNS, Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPO), and LDAP configuration.
Experience in proactive maintenance scheduling, backup procedures, and system optimization techniques.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple systems and tasks effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead root cause analysis on chronic tickets to identify and eliminate ongoing issues, ensuring long-term stability and reliability.
Develop, compile, test, and deploy customer scripting tailored to user specifications for efficient problem resolution.
Coordinate and perform proactive maintenance and backups of systems, implementing measures to minimize downtime and optimize system performance.
Oversee the management, maintenance, and control of Framework Active Directory, including user privilege assignment, group share management, and home directory administration.
Administer file system management, backups, process control, user administration, and device management to ensure smooth system operation.
Manage and maintain various systems including Exchange, SQL, RDS, and IIS to uphold system integrity and performance.
Provide configuration and management expertise in DNS, Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPO), and LDAP to support seamless network operations.
