National Commercial Title Coordinator

Overview:
The National Commercial Title Coordinator works directly with Underwriting Counsel, assisting them in all phases of processing complex commercial real estate transactions, including single-site deals and multi-site / multi-state portfolios. They are responsible for providing accurate and professional transaction management, from the commencement and placement of new orders, to closing.
Duties:
• Coordinate the opening and processing of new real estate transaction.
• Utilize comprehensive understanding of title concepts to communicate, coordinate and track transactions in multiple states.
• Coordinate closings and title curative matters with staff, underwriting and customers.
• Identify title defects and work with title and underwriting to formulate curative solutions.
• Analyze and evaluate documents as it relates to title.
• Review ALTA surveys.
• Review complex title exceptions and/ or objections and work with title and underwriting to determine insurability.
• Research in various databases, systems, and websites.
• Scan and upload documents to other pertinent software solutions.
• Perform with teamwork mindset and close customer relations with both escrow staff and customers to produce positive solutions and meet time requirements.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Additional Information:
REQURIEMENTS:
• Paralegal, commercial title, or real estate experience a plus, but not necessary.
• Proficient in Microsoft and Outlook.
• Exceptional organizational and analytical skills, and verbal/written communication.
• Must have excellent problem-solving capability and analytical abilities.
• Must be self-starter with ability to work independently.
• Must possess detail orientation with proven ability to produce quality work.
• Confidence and capability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
