Wealth Recruitment, LLC is a leading healthcare staffing agency specializing in the placement of highly skilled professionals in the medical field. We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Medical Technologist to join our team.

As a Medical Technologist, you will play a vital role in the diagnosis and treatment of patients by conducting complex laboratory tests and procedures. You will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, such as analyzing blood samples, operating laboratory equipment, and ensuring the accuracy of test results.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laboratory science, excellent attention to detail, and exceptional analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Conduct laboratory tests and procedures, including analyzing samples, operating laboratory equipment, and producing accurate test results.

Ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols and adhere to relevant regulations and guidelines.

Maintain laboratory equipment and troubleshoot technical issues as they arise.

Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely test results and assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy and precision of test results.

Document test results, record data, and maintain accurate and complete laboratory records.

Keep up to date with current research, trends, and developments in the field of medical technology.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in medical laboratory science or a related field.

Certification as a Medical Technologist or equivalent.

Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Medical Technologist in a clinical laboratory setting.

Strong understanding of laboratory techniques, procedures, and protocols.

Experience operating and maintaining laboratory equipment.

Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Requires the knowledge of clinical tests and standards necessary to perform highly complex tests as defined by CLIA (see appendix A) and accurately report results.

Requires the analytic abilities to perform highly complex testing as defined under CLIA 88 as listed in the appendix A to interpret findings, perform calculations, calibrate instruments, review highly complex testing performed by other employees as defined by CLIA guidelines and so forth.

Requires the ability to maintain compliance with all regulatory agency (e.g. JC, CAP, FDA, AABB) requirements.

Requires the manual/visual dexterity necessary to prepare specimens, prepare solutions, screen specimens and operate a computer software system.
