A Lab Technician is needed for a company that manufactures, sells, and markets non-alcoholic beverage concentrates and syrups in the Atlanta, GA area. This position involves maintaining laboratory equipment, preparing beverages, managing inventory, and adhering to Good Laboratory Practices in a research environment, with responsibilities spanning from ingredient processing to data recording and compliance.

work hours: 8am to 4pm

responsibilities:
• Process incoming inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring traceability and proper storage.
• Maintain laboratory and pilot plant equipment through cleaning, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, calibration, and repair.
• Uphold laboratory cleanliness, organization, and stocking of supplies, including glassware and countertops.
• Prepare syrups and beverages according to mixing instructions and guidance from product developers and scientists.
• Record data from analyses, calibrations, maintenance, cleaning, and experiments in a computer log book or laboratory notebook.
• Identify, classify, maintain, and protect files, documentation, and sensitive information in accordance with record handling and retention requirements.
• Perform general maintenance on figals and dispensing equipment for carbonated beverage production, including cleaning, sanitizing, and changing valves, seals, and gaskets.
