Description
American Traveler is looking for a Physical Therapist for a Home Health assignment requiring at least 1 year of home health experience and 2 years of overall clinical experience.
Details- Home health setting covering geriatric patients, wound care, and general home health cases
- Minimum of 23-24 visits per week required to qualify for a 40-hour guarantee
- Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- No weekend shifts required
- On-call is discretionary and not required
- May be asked to cover surrounding counties in addition to primary territory
- Charting is done using Kinnser/WellSky and must be completed on-site in the clinic, not taken home
- Mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate from first patient to last patient (not from/to home)
- Free residential parking available
- Minimum 1 year of home health experience and 2 years of overall clinical experience required
- BLS certification required
- Current state license required at time of consideration, with no license hits accepted (license required if applicable)
- Must have a valid license in hand; pending licenses are not accepted
- Current driver's license required
- Must have reliable transportation and insurance
- OASIS experience preferred
- Must provide date of birth and interview availability for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with any gaps explained
- Focus on patient-centered, home health care for geriatric patients including wound care needs
- Contract length is 4-6 months, with less experienced clinicians required to complete a 6-month term
- All requested time off must be submitted at time of consideration; no additional time off requests will be accepted after an offer is made
- Compliance documentation must be completed before starting patient care, which may take 2-3 weeks
- COVID-19 vaccination required, with religious declination accepted; flu vaccination may be declined with proper documentation
- Any color scrubs accepted with closed-toe shoes required
- Facility provides a tablet for charting purposes
- Ideal candidates are punctual, self-starters, and thorough with documentation
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
