Description
American Traveler is looking for a Home Health Physical Therapist in the Sacramento area with at least 1 year of home health experience and 2 years overall clinical experience.
Details- Home health setting covering the Sacramento area and potentially surrounding counties
- Patient population includes home health, wound care, and geriatric patients
- Minimum 23-24 visits per week required to qualify for 40hr guarantee
- Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- No weekend shifts required
- On-call is discretionary and not required
- Mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate from first patient to last patient (not to or from home)
- Uses Kinnser/Wellsky charting system
- All charting must be completed onsite in the clinic and cannot be taken home
- Contract length is 4-6 months per assignment; less experienced clinicians must commit to 6 months
- Minimum 1 year of home health experience and 2 years overall clinical experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- Current state PT license required at time of submission with no license hits (license required if applicable)
- Current driver's license required
- Must have reliable transportation and insurance
- OASIS experience preferred
- Proof of current CPR certification required
- Prior travel experience required
- COVID-19 vaccination required, with religious declination allowed
- Flu vaccination preferred, declination accepted if needed
- Main responsibilities include providing home health physical therapy services with a focus on patient-centered care
- Qualities valued include punctuality, self-motivation, and strong charting habits
- Charting is completed on a tablet provided by the facility
- Free residential parking available
- Dress code allows any color scrubs with closed-toe shoes
- Compliance documentation must be completed before starting patient care, which may take 2-3 weeks
- All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application; no additional RTO will be accepted after an offer is made
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
