- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 8-hour evening shifts
- Average Hours per Week: 40
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2250 - $2370 (travel nursing pay estimate)
- Patient Population: Adults aged 60+ (geriatric nursing, long-term care)
- Documentation System: EPIC EMR (required)
- Floating: Required (to Memory Care and Post-Acute Care units as needed)
- Holiday Coverage: Must be able to work all holidays
- Transportation: Reliable personal or rental vehicle required (no public transportation; snow tires recommended November–April)
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — Vermont or compact state (Registered Nurse jobs, RN license)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience (long-term care experience preferred)
- Prior travel nursing experience required (travel nurse background)
- EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years (required)
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Dementia Capable Care certification preferred (dementia care, geriatric nursing)
- Ability to work every other weekend and adjust schedule to meet unit needs
- Must not be allergic to cats (cat present on unit)
- All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained
- Complete work history required for submission (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.)
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to long-term care residents (LTC nurse responsibilities)
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for geriatric patients
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility protocols
- Accurately document all care and interventions in EPIC EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members, including LNA, CNA, and PCT staff
- Float to Memory Care and Post-Acute Care units as needed
- Participate in holiday and weekend coverage as scheduled
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for residents
- Make a meaningful impact in geriatric nursing and long-term care in a supportive facility
- Work with a collaborative interdisciplinary team focused on resident-centered care
