Job Description

The Assistant Superintendent - High-End Interior Fit-Outs - NoVA will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the planning, coordination and execution of construction activities on site
  • Assisting with site logistics, sequencing and short-term scheduling
  • Monitoring subcontractor performance, productivity and quality of work
  • Ensuring safety standards are upheld and site compliance is maintained
  • Coordinating inspections and supporting close-out activities
  • Acting as a key point of contact on site in the absence of the Superintendent

The Successful Applicant

The Assistant Superintendent - High-End Interior Fit-Outs - NoVA should have:

  • 1+ year experience being on site (Field Engineer or Assistant Superintendent)
  • Exposure to interior project $500k+
  • A hands-on approach with the ability to work independently without micromanagement
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to manage subcontractors on site
  • A commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards on job sites
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related field (preferred)
