Job Description- Prepare detailed cost estimates and project budgets for construction projects.
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to create accurate bids.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure alignment on project requirements.
- Source and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
- Track and update cost changes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist in value engineering efforts to optimize project costs and efficiency.
- Maintain and update a database of historical costs for future reference.
- Prepare and present bid proposals to internal stakeholders and clients.
