Remote Customer Service Representative
You will research eligibility, communicate case updates, and help resolve non-clinical issues while strictly safeguarding protected health information.
salary: $17.5 - $18 per hourshift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4:30 PM

Responsibilities- Authorization Processing: Actively listen to callers and process authorization and customer service requests efficiently.
- Problem Resolution: Act as the first point of contact for customer complaints and make non-clinical problem-resolution decisions.
- Communication: Communicate member eligibility, provider status, and appeal/denial information clearly and professionally.
- Clinical Support: Guide callers on required clinical information to reduce unnecessary transfers to clinicians.
- Education: High school diploma or GED.
- Experience: 1+ year of call center experience.
- Volume: Ability to handle 50-100 calls daily in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with a typing speed of at least 35 WPM
- 2+ years of experience in a health plan, TPA, or medical call center.
- Knowledge of managed care programs (Commercial, Marketplace, Medicaid, or Medicare).
- Spanish & English) is a plus.
