Job Description
  • Manage all phases of construction projects, including preconstruction, buyout, scheduling, execution, and closeout.
  • Develop and maintain project budgets, cost tracking, change orders, and monthly financial reporting.
  • Create and update project schedules, coordinate trade activities, and ensure milestone dates are met.
  • Lead subcontractor scope reviews, procurement, performance oversight, and compliance with safety and quality requirements.
  • Serve as the primary client contact, managing expectations, leading meetings, and issuing clear communication/documentation.
  • Oversee RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, meeting minutes, and project logs within the project management software.
  • Work closely with the Superintendent to coordinate field activities, sequencing, and on-site issue resolution.
  • Enforce quality standards, building codes, and safety regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure complete project turnover, including as‑builts, O&M manuals, and closeout packages.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Manager should have:

  • 5-10 years of experience working for a general contractor with a focus on commercial interior construction.
  • Experience with interior buildouts, and ideally ground-up interiors or interior projects for bank branches.
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, sequencing, and trade coordination.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client communication independently.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate issues and drive solutions.
  • Proficiency in construction management software; Procore experience/expertise is a strong nice-to-have.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • OSHA 30 and similar certifications are a plus.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
