Job Details- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 - $2,130
- Location: Boston, MA 02115 (Boston healthcare / Massachusetts nursing jobs)
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (June 1, 2026 – August 30, 2026)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Shift: 12-hour shifts; rotating 4 weeks days followed by 4 weeks nights (or vice versa)
- Employment Type: Travel Nurse / On-Site
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
- Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room (ED) nursing experience; Level I trauma experience preferred
- Ability to work every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH)
- Availability for rotating shifts (days/nights) and unit rotations
- Must complete onboarding requirements: background check, health screenings, skills checklist, and references
Preferred certifications (valued): BLS (AHA) required by many facilities; ACLS, PALS, Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) are a plus for ER RNs.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality, compassionate emergency nursing care in a busy Emergency Department
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patient needs in a Level I trauma center, including trauma activation response
- Deliver critical care interventions, administer medications, assist with procedures, and manage patient stabilization
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record
- Participate in unit rotations covering days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
