Position: Senior Corrosion Engineer (Cathodic Protection)

Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Materials Science or Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.

Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry.
NACE CP Level III certification (preferred or equivalent recognized qualification).
Technical Expertise:

In-depth knowledge of: o Corrosion mechanisms

o Cathodic protection systems (design, construction, maintenance)

Full understanding of international standards related to corrosion prevention and mitigation (e.g., NACE, ISO, API, etc.).
Key Responsibilities:

Design, installation, and troubleshooting of: o Impressed current and sacrificial anode systems

o Underground pipelines, storage tanks, and marine structures

Prepare: o Technical reports, design documentation, and maintenance strategies

o Budgets and project plans for submission to management

Provide recommendations to enhance corrosion prevention and extend asset life.

Manage and coordinate: o Corrosion protection projects in the capacity of a Project Engineer

o Contractor activities and compliance during construction/installation phases
