Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring a minimum of 2 years of recent MS/Tele experience and active CO or compact RN license.
Details- Med/Surg Telemetry (MS/Tele) unit in a hospital setting
- Cardiac telemetry patient population with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (18:00–06:30)
- 2 on-call shifts required per month, which may fall on days or nights depending on unit needs
- Medication administration via Pyxis
- Charting and documentation in Amrita EMR
- Active CO or compact RN license required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Minimum 2 years of recent MS/Tele, Cardiac Tele, or Telemetry experience
- 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Any scrub color is acceptable
- All time off requests must be submitted upfront and are subject to manager approval
- 13-week contract
