Setting: Acute Care / MS-Tele (Critical Access Hospital)
Role Overview:
Seeking an experienced MS/Tele RN for a small critical access facility. Ideal candidates should be comfortable managing cardiac telemetry patients, working independently, and handling a diverse patient population across all age groups.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years recent MS/Tele experience
- Strong cardiac monitoring & dysrhythmia management skills
- Experience with IV therapy, drips, and telemetry
- Comfortable in a low census, rural setting
Certifications (Required):
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
Clinical Skills:
- Telemetry monitoring & interpretation
- IV therapy, PICC lines, central line care
- Blood product administration
- Cardiac drips & insulin drips
- ABGs, oxygen therapy, trach care
- Wound care & general acute care management
Schedule & Call:
- 2 on-call shifts/month (05:00 AM – 07:00 PM)
- Must be within 1-hour response distance
Facility Details:
- Patient Ratio: 1:6
- Avg Census: ~8 patients/day
- 12-bed unit
- Charting: Amrita | Meds: Pyxis
