Job Details- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,460 - $1,540
- Location: Decatur, TX 76234 — North Texas travel nursing opportunity
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 8, 2026 – July 8, 2026)
- Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) — night shift RN / travel nurse
- Hours per Week: 36
- Employment Type: Travel (travel nurse, travel nursing job)
- Active RN license (Texas or compact state) — PCU RN / Acute care RN
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a PCU, step-down, telemetry, or similar acute care setting
- BLS certification required (American Heart Association preferred)
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced progressive care environment
- Telemetry or cardiac monitoring experience preferred
- Provide direct patient care to adult patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and document nursing interventions accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers) to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, discharge plans, and recovery
- Maintain a safe, compassionate, and supportive environment for patients, families, and staff
