- Strong cardiac assessment, monitoring, and patient care skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, patient-centered healthcare environment
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and time management skills
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in a Cardiac Stepdown setting
- Monitor patient status, cardiac rhythms, and response to treatment
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support optimal patient outcomes
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately and thoroughly
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, recovery, and ongoing care needs
- Recognize changes in patient condition and respond promptly with appropriate clinical intervention
