- Ongoing training (20 hours/year) Job Description This client's Early Intervention program supports children ages 3 to kindergarten entry with developmental delays or disabilities. As a Personal Care Assistant (PCA), you will work under the supervision of teachers and service providers to deliver instructional, behavioral, and personal care support in classroom settings. Responsibilities * Assist in classroom instruction and supervision
- Support students with feeding, toileting, and positioning
- Monitor and document student behavior and progress
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings
- Implement behavior intervention plans
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to FERPA regulations
- Ensure a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families
- Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support
- Demonstrate cultural competence and professionalism
- Complete daily sign-in/out logs Qualifications * High School Diploma or GED
- Experience with children preferred
- Must use IEP Writer software
- Required clearances (must be current): * PA Child Abuse Clearance
- FBI Fingerprints
- PA Criminal History Check
- TB Test
- Mandated Reporter Training
- CPR/First Aid Certification (hands-on required)
- Act 82 Arrest/Conviction Form
- Completed Act 168 Form
