Personal Care Assistant with Security Clearance

Personal Care Assistant (PCA) Location: Perkasie, PA (Positions throughout the district) Job Type: Full-time / Contract

Job Description Seeking dedicated and qualified Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to support students within our schools. In this role, you will work closely with students to help them meet their academic, emotional, and behavioral goals. You will provide the necessary supports and modifications to ensure students can safely and effectively access school facilities and the curriculum, which includes offering physical support and adapting teaching materials as needed.

Responsibilities and Duties * Behavioral & Academic Support: Assist students in meeting individual academic and behavioral goals.

• Curriculum Adaptation: Implement modifications and adapt teaching materials to ensure students can access the curriculum.
• Facility Access: Provide physical support and assistance to help students safely navigate school facilities.
• Collaboration: Work under the guidance of, and report directly to, the Supervisor of Special Education and the Building Principal.Shift & Hours Hours vary depending on the school level placement within the district: * Elementary School: 8:30 AM - 3:45 PM
• Middle School: 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM
• High School: 7:00 AM - 2:30 PMRequirements & Qualifications * Experience: Minimum of 6 months of experience working with students exhibiting challenging behaviors is required.
• Specialized Knowledge: Direct experience with Autism and behavior management techniques is required.
• Certifications: Current CPR/First Aid certification.Pre-Employment Paperwork Requirements To be considered for this role, candidates must be able to provide or obtain the following clearances and documentation: * PA State Police Clearance (Act 34)
• Child Abuse Clearance (Act 151)
• FBI Fingerprint Clearance (Act 114)

• Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release Form(s) (Act 16 8)
