Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily production activities to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets
  • Execute and adjust production schedules based on operational constraints
  • Directly manage, coach, and develop production employees across multiple shifts
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, EHS, SOPs, and batch documentation requirements
  • Lead or support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
  • Partner with Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality to improve throughput and reliability
  • Drive a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement

The Successful Applicant

Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related technical discipline preferred
  • 7-10 years of manufacturing experience in regulated environments (chemical, semiconductor, GMP, or similar)
  • Background as a Production Supervisor ready to step into a manager role or an early-career Production Manager
  • Experience leading front-line production teams in a batch manufacturing setting
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
  • Exposure to Lean, continuous improvement, or operational excellence initiatives
