Overview
We are seeking a Medical Technologist (MLT/MLS) to join a hospital laboratory team supporting patient diagnostics and care. This role involves performing laboratory testing on patient specimens and ensuring accurate, timely results in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Responsibilities- Perform laboratory testing on blood, urine, and other patient specimens
- Work across core lab areas including chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, and blood bank
- Operate and maintain laboratory analyzers and equipment
- Ensure accuracy through quality control and adherence to protocols
- Enter and verify results in laboratory information systems (LIS)
- Troubleshoot equipment and assist with routine maintenance
- Follow all safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Medical Laboratory Science, or related field OR Associate degree in MLT
- Minimum 1 year of laboratory experience preferred (clinical lab strongly preferred)
- Certification (ASCP, AMT, or equivalent) preferred or eligible
- Strong understanding of laboratory procedures, QC, and safety protocols
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Multiple shift options available (days, evenings, nights)
