Job Details- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,680 – $1,770
- Location: Akron, OH 44307 (Akron travel nursing job; Ohio OR RN jobs)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (with potential to extend)
- Start Date: May 15, 2026
- Shifts: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00am – 7:30pm); other possible shifts include 7:00am – 3:00pm and 7:30am – 5:30pm
- Hours per Week: 36
- Employment Type: Travel Contract / Travel Nurse position
- Minimum 18 months of recent Operating Room RN experience (OR circulator required; scrub/sterile technique experience preferred)
- Active, permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State RN license in hand at time of submission
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications (active, not pending)
- One supervisory reference (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) in the OR specialty required
- COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- Must successfully complete ECG rhythm recognition test during orientation
- Background check and fingerprinting required prior to start
- Function as an OR RN circulator for a variety of surgical cases; ensure safe, efficient perioperative nursing care
- Assist with preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care and surgical preparation
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs to facilitate safe procedures
- Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control and perioperative safety protocols
- Document patient care accurately and promptly in the electronic health record
- Participate in orientation and complete required facility modules for travel nurses
