Job Description
  • Design and develop mechanical components and systems for automated machinery.
  • Produce detailed drawings, 3D models, and complete assembly documentation.
  • Lead projects from initial concept and quotation through final machine testing.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to support fabrication and assembly accuracy.
  • Work closely with controls, supply chain, and other internal groups to maintain project timelines.
  • Create, update, and maintain bills of materials throughout the design cycle.

The Successful Applicant
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of mechanical design experience within industrial or automated machinery.
  • Proficiency in CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Inventor, or SolidWorks.
  • Broad understanding of manufacturing methods and mechanical design practices.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to generate practical, innovative design solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills and a desire to participate in hands‑on machine development.
