Responsibilities- Safely operate yard trucks to move trailers between docks, parking areas, and staging locations.
- Position trailers accurately for loading and unloading to support warehouse and production schedules.
- Perform routine inspections of trailers and yard equipment, reporting any damage or mechanical issues.
- Maintain organized trailer yard flow to maximize efficiency and minimize delays.
- Communicate with warehouse, shipping, and receiving teams to coordinate trailer movements.
- Verify trailer numbers, seals, and documentation to ensure accuracy and security.
- Follow all safety regulations, company policies, and yard procedures.
- Assist with basic yard maintenance tasks such as keeping areas clean and hazard-free.
