Role and Responsibilities
Conduct thorough inspections of residential, commercial, and industrial properties to identify pest activity and determine appropriate treatments.Assess the type and extent of infestations, prepare tailored service plans, and provide clients with accurate cost estimates.
Safely apply pest control products and perform fumigation services in compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Set, monitor, and remove traps for rodents and wildlife, ensuring humane and effective practices.
Install exclusion measures such as barriers, netting, and sealing systems to prevent pest entry and protect property.
Sanitize and clear pest-prone areas, eliminating nests, debris, and other harbourage conditions.
Maintain detailed records of inspections, treatments, product usage, and follow-up services as required by regulations.
Educate and advise clients on preventive strategies and long-term solutions to maintain pest-free environments.
Ensure proper care, maintenance, and safe handling of equipment, vehicles, and pest control materials.
Provide timely aftercare and emergency response services to ensure complete client satisfaction.
Stay current with industry standards, eco-friendly technologies, and best practices through ongoing training.
Job requirements
Completion of secondary school (preferred but not mandatory).Completion of a pest control or extermination course or 612 months of related work experience.
Valid Provincial Pesticide Applicator Licence.
Strong commitment to learning and professional growth, we are ready to train motivated candidates with the right attitude.
Ability to safely handle pest control products and operate equipment effectively.
Good communication and customer service skills to interact with clients in a professional manner.
Physical ability to perform hands-on duties, including inspections, treatments, and installation of pest prevention measures.
A valid Drivers Licence (or the ability to obtain one as soon as possible after joining).
