Job Description

As a Construction Project Manager, you'll oversee all phases of construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and field teams
  • Select and manage subcontractors and suppliers
  • Monitor construction progress and proactively resolve issues
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company standards
  • Maintain accurate documentation including RFIs, change orders, and progress reports
  • Conduct regular site visits and team meetings to ensure alignment
  • Collaborate with ownership and field leadership to meet project goals
  • Support preconstruction efforts including estimating and value engineering

The Successful Applicant

Ideal Project Manager candidates will bring:

  • Experience managing diverse commercial, light industrial, or retail construction projects
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, budgeting, and trade coordination
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • OSHA certification and additional training a plus
