Our client is currently seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager to join their growing team who is looking to grow with the business.

Job Description

The Assistant Project Manager will:

  • Support overall coordination and execution of project activities in collaboration with senior project leadership
  • Assist in managing and developing team members to enhance performance and professional growth
  • Help maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Provide support in administering contracts and subcontract agreements
  • Assist in developing, updating, and communicating project schedules
  • Contribute to budget tracking, cost management, and financial reporting processes
  • Review and help interpret project reports to monitor alignment with budget and timeline expectations
  • Support quality assurance and quality control efforts across project activities
  • Assist in identifying potential risks and contribute to mitigation planning, negotiations, and decision-making processes

The Successful Applicant

The successful Assistant Project Manager will have the following:

  • 1-4+ years of experience supporting project management efforts, preferably within a commercial construction environment
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
  • OSHA certification is a plus
  • Familiarity with project management software and tools
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
