About the Role:Seeking a compassionate and experienced LPN to provide quality patient care in a long-term care setting while supervising nursing assistants and supporting resident care needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care and administer medications
- Supervise nursing assistants and support staff
- Maintain accurate admissions, transfer, and discharge documentation
- Implement physician orders and care plans
- Monitor patient conditions and document treatment responses
- Perform catheter care, tube feeding, wound care, and specimen collection
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Educate patients and families on healthcare needs
- Maintain compliance with facility policies and regulations
- Support audits, inspections, and quality initiatives
Requirements & Preferred Skills:
- Active Massachusetts LPN License required
- BLS / CPR / AED Certification required
- Long-term care experience preferred
- Strong documentation and charting skills
- Ability to supervise staff effectively
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting
- Knowledge of patient care standards and compliance regulations
