Machine Operator
MACHINE OPERATOR
Adecco has partnered with a client in Highland NY and is looking for a machine operator.
Job Summary: Operate machinery for making lighting fixtures in a manufacturing environment.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- The ability to use appropriate measuring instruments to the task.
- The ability to operate hand tools.
- The ability to operate a variety of machines in the factory including sheet metal punching and
- Strive to meet planned work center times in ERP system.
- The ability to interface with other departments to accomplish tasks.
- The ability to communicate professionally.
- Maintain a clean work area as required.
- Working ability to apply all applicable safety requirements to comply with regulatory agencies.
- Performs ERP transactions accurately to company policies and procedures.
- Minimum two years machine shop experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read and interpret blue prints and schematics
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Physical Demands:- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
- Ability to frequently stand, walk, reach within hands and arms length, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50
- Specific vision requirements include close vision.
Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
