Pharmacy Appeals Technician
Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is looking for a Pharmacy Appeals Technician for our client in Pearland, TX!
Type: 3-month contract, with potential for extensionPay: $18 to $20/hr
Location: Telecommute, must live in Texas and be licensed in Texas
Schedule: 8:30 am to 5:30 pm CST Monday to Friday
Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician:
- Complete prior authorization questions within EMR and external websites for providers.
- Review charts, outreach providers & patients to obtain documentation to support the case.
- Contact payers to follow-up on pending cases.
- Contact pharmacies for coordination.
- Monitor and address inbox & phone calls.
Qualifications for the Pharmacy Technician:
- Education: High School diploma or GED
- Experience: 6+ months in pharmacy, call center, or customer service
- Licensure: TSBP Registered Pharmacy Technician
- Skills: Strong communication skills, multitasking, critical thinking, data entry, and computer proficiency (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Excellent Weekly Pay discussed during screening

Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
