Clerical Assistant

Required Skills:
- Provide support to the Chief Assistant with administrative and clerical duties
- Must have superior customer service skills and be able to handle questions from Reading participants
- Must have the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must have working, advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Duties may involve a lot of walking and standing for long periods of time
- Create and/or collect materials as directed by the Chief Assistant
- Ensure any changes from the Chief Assistant are communicated to assigned groups
- Report policy issues/problems and recommend possible solutions to Chief Assistant and/or ETS staff promptly
- Perform clerical functions as needed, such as testing equipment, photocopying, etc.
- Ensure that all computers are turned on at the beginning of the scoring day and conduct other checks as assigned
- Obtain supplies from the copy room for Readers, and request additional supplies as needed
- Set Leader/Reader workstations with appropriate supplies, place cards, and other scoring materials
- Assist Chief Assistant with other duties as required
- Ensure all Reader forms have been completed and returned
Education:
High school diploma or GED
Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
