Our client is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team in Grant, MI. Responsibilities:-Plan, implement, and maintain quality assurance programs for automotive manufacturing operations.-Design, specify, and oversee installation of quality control sampling systems, testing mechanisms, and equipment.-Create and support quality policies, procedures, and development of quality standards.-Investigate and resolve product and process issues using structured problem-solving tools.-Serve as a liaison between internal teams and external partners (suppliers, customers, auditors).-Monitor cost, timing, and scope of quality-related initiatives and ensure alignment with project milestones.-Analyze supplier performance, provide feedback, and support product or process improvements.-Lead continuous improvement efforts, driving efficiency and effectiveness across operations.-Perform comparative analysis to ensure use of optimal quality assurance techniques.-Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to support personnel as needed.

Qualifications:-Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).-2+ years of quality engineering experience in the automotive sector.-Solid understanding of IATF 16949 regulations -Familiarity with ISO/TS standards, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and other automotive quality tools.-Proficiency with standard and specialized test equipment, data analysis, and reporting tools.
