My client is a confidential, well‑established general contractor with a strong footprint throughout North and South Carolina. Founded in the 1990s, the firm generates over $300M in annual revenue and employs approximately 200 professionals across five offices, including a rapidly growing Charlotte operation.Their culture combines the stability of a long‑standing builder with a progressive, people‑first mindset-emphasizing quality craftsmanship, team collaboration, and continuous development across three core markets: Municipal (e.g., public schools), Healthcare (e.g., cancer centers), and Commercial (e.g., fire stations).
Job Description- Lead and manage all phases of construction projects from pre‑construction through closeout.
- Develop, monitor, and control project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery.
- Partner with owners, designers, and internal teams to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables.
- Oversee subcontractors and vendors to ensure work meets quality standards, contract requirements, and specifications.
- Perform regular site visits to track progress, address issues, and maintain momentum in the field.
- Prepare and present detailed project status reports to clients and senior leadership.
- Enforce safety standards and ensure full compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements across all sites.
- Identify potential risks early and implement proactive solutions to resolve challenges and keep projects on track.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Project Manager should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field (strongly preferred)
- Experience managing commercial construction projects
- 5+ years of progressive project management experience with a General Contractor
- Proficiency with project management software
- Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to thrive in a team‑oriented environment
- Competitive salary range from $110,000 to $150,000 USD.
