My client is a confidential, well‑established general contractor with a strong footprint throughout North and South Carolina. Founded in the 1990s, the firm generates over $300M in annual revenue and employs approximately 200 professionals across five offices, including a rapidly growing Charlotte operation.

Job Description
  • Lead and manage all phases of construction projects from pre‑construction through closeout.
  • Develop, monitor, and control project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery.
  • Partner with owners, designers, and internal teams to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables.
  • Oversee subcontractors and vendors to ensure work meets quality standards, contract requirements, and specifications.
  • Perform regular site visits to track progress, address issues, and maintain momentum in the field.
  • Prepare and present detailed project status reports to clients and senior leadership.
  • Enforce safety standards and ensure full compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements across all sites.
  • Identify potential risks early and implement proactive solutions to resolve challenges and keep projects on track.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field (strongly preferred)
  • Experience managing commercial construction projects
  • 5+ years of progressive project management experience with a General Contractor
  • Proficiency with project management software
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to thrive in a team‑oriented environment
