Responsibilities:
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders, and distributing orders for processing
- Read customer orders, work orders, shipping documents, and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or shipped
- Monitor daily pickups and deliveries, verify loads arrive on time and in good condition, and validate load data prior to marking deliveries complete
- Maintain a safe, clean, and accessible warehouse environment while following all safety policies and procedures
- Assemble products and participate in inventory counts as needed
- Take check calls from drivers to confirm delivery status and ensure accurate tracking for accounting purposes
Requirements:
- Basic written and verbal communication skills and basic computer skills
- Dock or warehouse experience within the transportation or logistics industry preferred
- Experience loading and unloading trailers and using handheld scanners
- Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 75 pounds and safely load and unload trucks
- Ability to follow written, verbal, or diagram-based instructions and apply critical thinking
- Availability to work assigned shifts and adjust schedules based on freight volume

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
