Star Nursing is seeking LPNs for urgent
Job Details:
- Location: Abilene, TX
- Facility: SSLC
- Shifts Available:
- PM: 8hr, 40hrs/week, must be flexible w/weekends
Pay Rates:
Local: $42/hr.(IF With housing: 32-35/hr. - subject to hotel availability and pricing)
Travel: ($15/hr taxed + $1160/wk tax-free travel stipend)
** Must be 50 miles away from permanent residence to qualify for housing allowance**
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care under RN or physician supervision
- Monitor and document vital signs
- Observe and report changes in patient conditions
- Assist with wound care, dressing changes, and other medical treatments
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse reactions
- Assist patients with mobility and personal hygiene tasks
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Ensure compliance with facility policies and infection control protocols
Requirements:
Step 1:
- Resume with long-term care experience
- Active TX LVN license
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Skills checklist
- 1-2 recent supervisor references
Step 2 (Upon Offer):
- Physical and PPD (within the last 12 months)
- MMR, Varicella, Hep B (or decline)
- Tdap/Flu (or decline)
- COVID negative test (current)
- LGBT Training Certification
- Background check and urine drug screen
- Copy of driver s license and Social Security card
