Position Overview
The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) provides comprehensive speech and language evaluations and therapeutic interventions for pediatric patients from birth to 21 years of age. This role focuses on developing individualized treatment plans to improve communication, language development, cognitive functioning, and overall quality of life within a supportive outpatient therapy environment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct speech and language evaluations for pediatric patients (birth to 21 years)
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
- Provide speech and language therapy in individual and group settings
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, physicians, educators, and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and treatment reports
- Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and continuing education activities
- Deliver patient-centered care focused on communication, independence, and developmental progress
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Colorado SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- Minimum 2 years of experience preferred
- Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply
- Pediatric therapy experience preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
