Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Safety Operations Manager – Transportation to join our expanding team. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining safety standards, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting driver operations across multiple locations.This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with strong knowledge of DOT regulations, fleet safety, and driver training who is passionate about operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities of a Safety Operations Manager:
- Oversee and enforce safety protocols across assigned zTrip locations
- Conduct regular audits, vehicle inspections, and compliance assessments
- Maintain accurate records of driver qualifications, certifications, background screenings, and drug testing
- Investigate incidents and accidents, and implement corrective action plans
- Stay current on all applicable local, state, and federal transportation regulations
- Partner with operations teams to ensure consistent safety practices and compliance standards
- Support the development and delivery of driver safety training programs
- Communicate effectively with drivers, leadership, and regulatory agencies
Qualifications of a Safety Operations Manager:
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, safety compliance, and fleet operations
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to manage multiple locations and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in transportation safety, compliance, or operations preferred
- Results-driven with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
