Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ICU position in North Carolina, requiring a minimum of one year of nursing experience and active NC or compact RN licensure.
Details- Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting within a hospital environment
- Provides care to patients with complex, multifaceted medical needs
- Active RN license valid in North Carolina (NC state or compact license) required
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
- Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification (AHA or ARC) required
- Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from an accredited nursing program required; BSN or MSN preferred
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care using the nursing process, reporting to the Nurse Manager/Director
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to evaluate and update individualized patient care plans
- Participates in unit goals, performance improvement activities, and cost-effective care initiatives
- Assesses and anticipates discharge planning needs for patients and families
- Plan to report to the lab for a drug screen within 24 hours of accepting an offer, as background check and drug screen results may take at least 2 weeks to process
