CNC Machinist

Randstad is seeking an experienced CNC machinst for 1st shift. This is a direct-hire opportunity.

Responsibilities

Reports To: Production Supervisor

You’ll be responsible for producing precision-machined parts using both CNC mills and lathes. This includes setup, programming, and operation while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and productivity standards.

• Set up, operate, and program CNC lathes and mills.
• Write and edit CNC programs using G & M code on Fanuc controls.
• Program using Inventor CAM or Fusion 360 (preferred).
• Operate and troubleshoot Haas, Fadal, and Mori Seiki CNC machines.
• Machine parts to tight tolerances, with a focus on stainless steels.
• Calculate and adjust speeds and feeds for optimal performance.
• Perform inspections to ensure parts meet specifications and quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality parts.
• Solid understanding of precision machining practices.

• 5–7 years of CNC machining experience in a job shop environment.
• Proficiency with CNC mills and lathes.
• strong knowledge of G & M code programming on Fanuc controls.
• Experience with Inventor CAM or Fusion 360 preferred.
