CNC Programmer (3, 4 & 5-Axis) – Direct Hire

- up $85,000 Base Salary
The Adecco Permanent Recruitment team is partnering with a precision manufacturing organization seeking a CNC Programmer to support high-speed machining operations. This role focuses on creating complex multi-axis programs and driving continuous improvement in manufacturing performance and consistency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop CNC programs for 3, 4, and 5-axis machines using CAD/CAM software (NX, Vericut or similar)
- Program high-speed machining of hardened steels and electrodes for precision mold applications
- Support programming for horizontal mills used in soft machining (steel and plastics)
- Create and maintain machining instructions, setup sheets, and technical documentation
- Modify drawings and support engineering changes as needed
- Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
- Assist in developing and maintaining programming and quality standards
- Work closely with shop floor teams to support production and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
- Experience with NX or similar CAD/CAM programming software
- Strong background in multi-axis (3D) CNC programming
- Prior machine shop experience required
- Strong blueprint reading and understanding of GD&T
- Knowledge of machining principles, speeds & feeds, and dimensional tolerancing
- Experience working with tight tolerances and metric measurements
- Strong problem-solving and technical judgment skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with ISO 9000 / AS9100 quality standards preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
