Job Description
The Asset Management Analyst will report directly to the Director of Finance and play a critical role in supporting the financial and operational performance of a commercial real estate portfolio. The successful candidate will partner with third-party property management and leasing teams to maximise asset value and support strategic decision-making.
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate asset performance and investment opportunities
- Review monthly, quarterly, and annual property financial statements, identifying trends and performance drivers
- Conduct variance analysis against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods, providing actionable recommendations
- Monitor key asset performance metrics including Net Operating Income, occupancy, leasing activity, debt service coverage, and loan-to-value ratios
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, capital expenditure tracking, and business plan execution
- Partner with third-party property management firms to review operating performance and ensure budget adherence
- Prepare executive-level reporting, asset reviews, valuation analyses, and strategic recommendations

The Successful Applicant
For the Asset Management Analyst we are seeking:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, Economics, Business, or a related discipline
- 2-4 years of experience in asset management, commercial real estate, financial analysis, or real estate accounting
- Strong understanding of commercial real estate fundamentals and performance metrics
- Advanced Excel skills with experience building and maintaining complex financial models
- Experience reviewing property-level financial reporting and budgets
- Exposure to commercial property sectors such as office, industrial, retail, or multifamily preferred
- Experience working with third-party property management companies is highly desirable
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
