EHS Specialist

Responsibilities for an EHS Specialist include but are not limited to:
- Support and maintain Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs, procedures, and compliance initiatives within the plant
- Conduct audits, inspections, accident investigations, and corrective action reporting to ensure OSHA and EPA compliance
- Partner with Plant Management, Engineering, Maintenance, and Production teams to identify and reduce workplace safety risks
- Assist with machine guarding, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), confined space procedures, employee training, and EHS documentation management
Candidates for EHS Specialist must meet the following requirements to be considered:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Engineering, or related field required
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in environmental, health, and safety program management
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations, PPE requirements, incident investigations, machine guarding, Lockout/Tagout, and confined space procedures
- CSP, ASP, CIH, or CEP certification required
- Ability to work onsite, wear required PPE including steel toe shoes, and support occasional evening shift needs
- Excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills (MS Word & Excel)
- Pay: $42.50/hour
- Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM start time
- 40 hours per week with possible evening shift support as needed

Pay Details: $42.50 per hour
