Job Description
  • Lead day‑to‑day onsite construction activities from footing through vertical construction.
  • Manage subcontractors, site logistics, inspections, and safety compliance.
  • Maintain schedules, coordinate trades, and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Actively walk the site daily, this is not a truck‑based supervision role.
  • Run subcontractor coordination meetings and daily planning activities.
  • Partner closely with General Superintendents and Project Managers.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and productive job sites.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Commercial Ground Up Superintendent should have:

  • 5-10 years of experience as a Superintendent.
  • Experience running ground‑up commercial construction projects.
  • Comfortable with early‑stage site work, including footings and vertical construction.
  • Strong field presence and leadership, boots‑on‑the‑ground mentality required.
  • Stable work history preferred.
  • Local to the Charlotte metro area.
What's on Offer
  • Base Salary: $105K-$120K
  • Guaranteed Bonus: $10K in the first year (typical target ~$20K)
  • Vehicle Allowance: $500-$800/month (includes gas)
  • Healthcare: Company‑paid medical insurance after 30 days
